With employment confirmation or promotion, every employee will be given job objectives which detail the requirements and expectations of the position for which the employee was hired. Web Access will measure your job performance against these objectives. The reporting supervisor shall review and discuss the objectives with the employee.
Performance reviews are normally conducted half yearly. All performance reviews are based on merit, achievement, job description fulfillment and performance at your position. Annual wage increases will be based upon these reviews, as well as past performance improvement; dependability; attitude; cooperation; any necessary disciplinary action; adherence to all employment policies; and your position in your salary range. When you are promoted to a higher level position, you are automatically eligible for an increase as directed by the salary range of that position.
Opportunities for Communication
Effective communication is essential to provide the best client care, maintain productivity, sustain morale and foster constructive employee relations. Communication is an ongoing process, and Web Access invites suggestions on how to enhance communications.
Employees and their Supervisor
Questions and concerns relating to job activities should be first presented to supervisors. Communication between the supervisor and the employee should be ongoing and address concerns, duties and expectations. Supervisors can help employees achieve their professional goals by providing career development information.
Department and Unit Meetings
Departments and units meet to communicate goals and objectives and to discuss workplace issues of interest to employees.
Management Meetings
All levels of management routinely hold meetings to communicate information and discuss matters of importance.
