- Tasks to team members must be allocated on daily basis.
have you ? - "One of the primary responsibility of Team Leader is to allocate tasks to the Team Members".
Have you allocated tasks to your Team Members? - "All projects are required to use Red Mine Issue tracker for tracking issues and bugs reported in internal and/or client testing"
- "Management Representative is required to audit the projects and functions on a monthly basis"
- The project issues (bugs and support related issues) whether reported by client or reported during internal testing/review must be tracked to closure. Issue Tracker is the system we use to track all issues. All projects that are not using client's issue tracking system are required to record all the issues in Issue Tracker and track these to closure.
- We are using 3 primary aspects related to the projects.
a) Requirement documentation
b) Task log records
c) Issue tracking.
The requirement/ functionality document is either prepared by the client and issued to us or we prepare the same and record all the requirements in an excel sheet / google document. We log our time spent in completing the functionality/requirements in ALARM Projects. Issue Tracker system is required to be used for logging all issues and tracking them. - All projects are required to have a Testing and Issue Resolution phase in ALARM Projects. The time logged against the issues recorded in the Issue Tracker must be booked against the Testing and Issue resolution phase in ALARM Projects. This will give a good idea of the time spent in development and time spent in issue resolution.
- Ensure that you log your work under the correct task, correct milestone and the correct projects.
- All testing and bug fix related tasks should be logged under the "testing and verification" milestone. This implies that all development projects will have a "testing and verification" milestone.
